The resort was set up all the way back in 1991 and its was derived from the Sal or Sarai jungle surrounding it.<p></p>Sarai Kothi offers stunning views of the surrounding jungle, villages and paddy fields. The wildlife reserve is home to over 70 species of trees and 22 species of wildlife, so there’s a good chance you’ll get to see a few endangered animals, including the Bengal tiger, black buck, leopard, chinkara, jackal, and hard-ground barasingha. It’s also an excellent spot for bird watchers with over 200 species of birds inhabiting the area.<h3 class=“ about-hotel__subtitle”>How To Get Here</h3>The closest airports to the resort are the Nagpur International Airport which is 285 km, the Jabalpur Airport is 189 km away, and the Raipur Airport is 202 km away. If you’re planning on travelling by train, the closest railway stations are Gondia Junction (117 km), Nagpur Railway Station (242 km), the Raipur Junction (187 km), and the Jabalpur Junction (183 km).
