Treebo Markynti Guest House is a cottage villa present in a quaint quiet neighbourhood in Shillong, Meghalaya. The guest house is suitable for all travellers and even has a couple friendly policy which means unmarried couples can make hotel reservations without any hassle. If guests would also like to check in using their local ID, that is permissible by the hotel. The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast to all its guests during their stay, that serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine and the cuisines offered are North Indian and Continental. Guests can also order prompt room service as well as utilise the free parking space available in the basement of the guest house.   The Guest House comprises of two floors and has 10 rooms available. The rooms are categorized into Acacia (Solo), Oak (Standard), Maple ( Deluxe), and Mahogany (Premium). The amenities common in all the rooms include comfortable beds with fresh and clean linen, wardrobes, a study table and chair, a coffee table, and an intercom facility. The attached washrooms come with 24x7 access to hot and cold water and complimentary toiletries.  Meghalaya has a small airport which is operational only on certain days. Most travellers just fly or take a train to the neighbouring city Guwahati and from there there are several shared taxis and buses available. The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport at Guwahati is located 124 km away and the Guwahati Railway Station is 103 km away. If you are coming in by bus, the closest bus terminus is at Golf Links which is 6 km away. Spread Eagle Falls, Sweet Falls, the War Museum, and the Rhino Heritage Museum are all within 6 km from the hotel. Try the delicious food available at The Wok, Swish Cafe, Pinewood Hotel, and The Grub Cafe for some chinese and continental food. The local food is available at the stalls set up all across the city, and especially in the hub points of Police Bazaar and Laitumkhrah.
