If you are travelling by bus, the Pachilakad Bus Station is 30 km away and the nearest bus stand. For those taking a flight, the nearest airports are at Calicut and Cochin which are at a 123 km and 230 km distance respectively.<h3 class=" about-hotel__subtitle">Rooms And Amenities Offered</h3>Shola Shack offers a total of 5 rooms and can accommodate 14 guests at maximum capacity. The retreat offers spacious eco friendly abodes that are furnished and come with balconies or porches offering wonderful views of the forest. The rooms all also have an attached washroom. The retreat provides three meals a day to its guests which are complementary and all inclusive in the price of the room. The amenities offered at the retreat include housekeeping, Wifi, laundry, and recreational activities.<h3 class=" about-hotel__subtitle">Activities On Site</h3>The Muneeswaran Hill view point is a short trek up from the retreat and guests can enjoy a guided trek up there. The views from the hill are well known and it is also one of the best trek routes available in Wayanad. The Makki village is also within walking distance and one can visit the village which is a tribal settlement and learn about their traditional and harmonious ways of living.
